Like all waste, paper poses disposal problems. Paper is a recyclable material and can be treated and reused as a second material for the production of new paper.
In Italy, paper and cardboard represent about 30% of total waste and constitute a resource because they can be used to produce recycled paper.

By recovering a ton of cellulose material, three 20-metre high trees, can be saved, reducing the environmental impact and saving energy sources.

Differentiated collection and management of paper

ESO offers a complete service, carried out by qualified personnel for the collection of the paper, directly inside the Customer's offices, to guarantee its correct disposal at authorised plants.

The paper recovery and disposal service includes different types of containers:

– Recycled cardboard ESObox for the collection of plain paper

– PAPER ESObox made of recycled cardboard for the collection of medium to large quantities of paper including paper archives

– Aluminium ESObox for the collection of confidential documents through a dedicated service: Secret paper

When the ESObox is filled, ESO takes care of the collection through the express service (EXP) or through the programmed service (PROG): specialised staff will carry out collection, replacing the full bag and inserting an empty replacement bag in the paper ESObox.

ESO also advises on legal requirements, such as Load and Unloading Registers, the Annual Declaration (MUD), as well as legal and practical information for obtaining tax relief (TARI) for services provided by private companies.
